“Just a simple bee queen cage, mainly for transport, for introducing queens, and requeening..

Basically the standard design used for commercial cages (with a few minor improvements). Add the queen (and accompanying bees) to the main chamber and some (soft) food in the front chamber. When inserting the cage into the hive break the little oval-shaped door open and the queen will automatically be released once the food is gone.

Hope your bees like it. Here is a collection of some of my Beekeeping Designs on Thingiverse.

Should be an easy print. No supports or adhesion needed. Preferably print in some transparent color (so you can see what actually happens inside the cage) at 0.2 mm layer height and 100% infill.

Enjoy!”
